DeutschProject: Checklist Myxomycota of Germany
Web-presentation of data on distribution and ecology of myxomycetes in Germany
The project will make published checklist data of myxomycetes in Germany available on the Internet. In addition, a database with keyworded references on ca. 3,500 published papers on taxonomy, distribution and ecology of Myxomycetes will be presented. The databases will use the JAVA client DiversityNavigator and Diversity Workbench modules as DiversityReferences incl. Special-Indexing and DiversityTaxonomy. For information on taxonomy the project will use a global nomenclatoric standard list compiled by C. Lado (Royal Botanical Garden Madrid), which will be presented "as name server" online via the Spain GBIF Node.
